In a nutshell, that is the best way to describe a tiny, quirky concept called the Land Glider, which will be revealed by Nissan at the Tokyo auto show.
It's part car, part motorcycle and totally zero-emissions. The Land Glider draws power from two electric motors in the rear that use lithium-ion batteries mounted under the floor. It also has a “noncontact” charging system that allows the vehicle to be charged wirelessly.
Enthusiasts would enjoy a feature that allows the vehicle to lean 17 degrees for better cornering. The driver turns and the Glider leans--at least that's how Nissan explains it.
The footprint is quite small: 122 inches in length, 55.7 inches tall and 43.3 inches wide. It's a concept, but Nissan hints that it's a glimpse of the company's vision for urban mobility.
