A Dearing Project To Save The 33 Trapped Miners In Chile Is Undergoing

Chilean miners who had been trapped underground by the mine accident in San Jose in Chile since August 5, have been saved.
The last miner who was brought to the surface was the shift supervisor Luis Ursu.
In total, the miners had been buried underground for nearly 70 days.
On the surface the rescued miners were greeted by their family members, doctors and representatives of the leadership of Chile, including the president and his wife.
For the first 17 days their fate was unknown, but the rescuers finally managed to establish contact with them on the 22nd August. The delivery of water, food and medicine, as well as a two-way video link,
The Capsule That Could Save The 33 Traped Miners
were made possible through a specially drilled hole from the surface to the miners.
The rescue operation was broadcast live on television and was watched by millions of viewers around the world.
