The Election Commission on Tuesday announced the dates for elections in the five States of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Assam and Puducherry.he voting will take place in Tamil Nadu and Kerala on April 13. West Bengal votes on six days, starting April 18. The voting will take place in Assam on April 4 and April 11 and in Puducherry on April 13.The voting will take place for 234 assembly constituencies in Tamil Nadu, voters in Kerala will vote for 140 assembly constituencies. The voting will take place for 294 assembly constituencies in West Bengal.The voters in Assam will vote for 126 assembly constituencies and voting will take place in 30 assembly constituencies in Puducherry. The counting of votes for all the five States will take place on May 13.
