Venki the famous children’s illustrator received this year’s book design award of the state Institute of childrens literature.He had illustrated books and designed cover of more than two hundred books, besides illustrating many items in Malayalam and English periodicals in India and abrod. He is also the recepient of Bhima award. His illustrations are unique,bearing a global standard.
