Former High Court justice K K Narendran, 87, has passed away at a private hospital in Kochi on Friday 7.30pm. He has headed several inquiry commissions in Kerala. He is survived by wife Sujana Nandini and three children: K.N. Sunil, Adv. Anil K. Narendran, and K.N. Mini
He was born on 28 August 1923 in Paravur. After his studies, he entered into the field of journalism through ‘Dinabandhu’. Later, he became a reporter at Kerala Kaumudi daily. As per the instruction of Editor K. Sukumaran (Kerala Kaumudi), he joined Ernakulam Law College as a student. After completing his degree there, he practised as a junior under T.N. Sundara Iyyer in 1951. He became the additional judge in High Court on 30 May 1974.
