K. M. K. Vellayil announced the annual awards of the All Kerala Mappila Sangeetha Academy at Kozhikode on 20 September 2011. These awards are given for the excellence in the field of arts. N. P. Mohammedali is the state president of this academy while T. M. Sajeer is the treasurer. The jury members were Kalamandalam Ambika, singer K. G. Markose, Mr Vellayil & Azeez Thayineri(singer).
The winners of the All Kerala Mappila Sangeetha Academy Awards are

2. Monisha award: Bhama(Actor as well as dancer)
3. G. Devarajan award: V. T. Murali(Singer)
4. Moinkutty Vaidyar award: K. C. Aboobakkar(Lyricist)
5. Yuva Kala Prathibha award: Kripa Thrissur(Budding actress)
The All Kerala Mappila Sangeetha Academy Awards comprises a citation, cash prize & a sculpture that was designed by J. R. Prasad. Another fact is that E. T. Muhammed Basheer MP, will be presenting those awards to the winners during the 19th anniversary celebrations of the All Kerala Mappila Sangeetha Academy that is going to be held on 25 September 2011 at hotel Alakapuri auditorium. The timing will be 6:30 PM. During this occasion, an Eeshal night as well as prize distribution to the winners of the Malabar Kalamela 2010 will also be held.
