Bollywood Actress Vidya Balan won the Best Actress award for her performance in the film 'Dirty Picture' in the 59th National Film Awards 2011.

Girish Kulkarni

Girish Kulkarni won the Best actor Award for his act in the Marathi Film Deool. The films Deool in Marathi and Byari in Byari language jointly won the Best Feature Films Award. 
The Award for Best Direction was bagged by the film "Anhe Gohrey Da Daan" ( Punjabi film) directed by Gurvider Singh. 
The Awards for the Best Special Effects was won by the hindi film Ra One while the Best Choreography Award was bagged by Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara for the song Senorita.
The film 'Chillar Party' bagged the Best children's film award. 
The best Child Artist award was jointly won by child artists in the Hindi films Stanley ka Dabba and Chillar Party.
