Meet the socially distant robot scientist |
Robotic scientists – that could increase the pace of scientific discovery. Scientists at Liverpool University have announced a robotic colleague who has worked non-stop during the lockout in their laboratory.
The system is part of the Royal Society of Chemistry called the modern digital era for research.
The organization says that artificial intelligence and robotics are crucial for research and development – including the hunt for corona virus therapy – to move swiftly at a time of social distancing when fewer human scientists will be able to get back to their labs.
