Noted journalist J Gopikrishnan of The Pioneer has been selected for the K V Daniel Memorial award. Vice Chairman of the judging committee, Joy Sasthampadikkal told reporters here today Gopikrishnan's reports on the 2G scam had won him the award. The award, in memory of Daniel, the founder editor of the Thrissur based eveninger Telegraph Daily who died in March 1998, consists of Rs 10,001, a plaque and a testimonial would be presented to Gopikrishnan here on March 27, he added.
